Two Arrested, Over 700 Pressed Fentanyl Pills Seized
On May 1, 2024 the Laurens County Sheriff’s Office Narcotic Unit conducted an investigation which led to a traffic stop near Metric Road in Laurens. During this traffic stop, Deputies seized a large quantity of pressed fentanyl pills (approximately 750 pills) and approximately $1000.00 in cash. Two people were arrested and charged with trafficking in Fentanyl, 28 grams or more.

Both individuals are being held in the Laurens County Detention Center with no bond.
