Mountain Creek Follow-Up

On March 4th at approximately 9:50AM, deputies responded to a residence on Mountain Creek Road in Gray Court in reference to a domestic dispute among two individuals.

Deputies attempted to speak with the subject believed to be the aggressor, at which time this individual did fire at least one shot. One deputy did return fire, however neither the subject nor the deputies sustained any injuries and they were able to assist the other resident in leaving the home safely.

Attempts were made to communicate with the other individual inside the home with no progress and both LCSO’s SWAT team and SLED’s SWAT team were activated. At approximately 12:20PM, the subject was taken into custody.

Mollie Mischelle Shephard was arrested and will be charged with the  following:

-Two Counts of Attempted Murder

-Breach of Peace

More charges are possible.
