Cocaine, Meth Located- Man Arrested

The Laurens County Sheriff's Office and the Greenwood County Sheriff's Office initiated an investigation into the Trafficking of Illegal Narcotics. After an extensive investigation, law enforcement executed search warrants on October 25th at various locations in the Waterloo area of Laurens County. The following items were located and seized:

-66 grams of Cocaine

-150 grams of Meth

-2,594 grams of Marijuana

-22 grams of Crack Cocaine

-97 dosage units of a Schedule IV Controlled Substance

-85 dosage units of a Schedule IV Controlled Substance

More than $20,000 in cash was recovered from the locations involved.

Harvey Jurell Cunningham of Waterloo was arrested and charged as follows:

-Trafficking in Meth or Cocaine Base (200g or more, but less than 400g)

-Trafficking in Cocaine, 3rd or subsequent offense

-Trafficking in Meth or Cocaine Base (100g or more, but less than 200g)

-Possession with Intent to Distribute Schedule Controlled Substance, 3rd or subsequent offense

-Trafficking in Meth or Cocaine Base, 3rd or subsequent offense

-Possession of a Weapon During a Violent Crime

Cunningham remains in the Johnson Detention Center with no bond.

“This is a significant amount of drugs that are no longer on the streets of our county. I commend the deputies and investigators involved for a job well done. Hopefully the justice system will do its job and not allow this behavior to continue more than it already has.” Sheriff Don Reynolds
