Litter Cleanup
After receiving complaints about the amount of trash that washed up during the recent flooding, our inmate work crew is attempting to clean up the area of Boyds Mill Pond Road and Highway 252. Yesterday, the crew spent the majority of the day collecting 900 pounds of trash. Unfortunately, there is still an estimated 1,000 pounds of trash still to collect. Our work crew will return to this location next week to complete the job. These pictures remind us not to litter anywhere, especially near our lakes and rivers. It is important that we all do our part to keep our county clean. If you are caught, you WILL be charged!
